1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello

Vehicle Description

The 550 marked Ferrari's return to producing a front-V12 engined two-seat Berlinetta, a type of car they hadn't manufactured since the demise of the 365 GTB/4 Daytona in 1973. It quickly became yet another sales success, often referred to as the 'Daytona of the Nineties' and remains a fantastic investment.

This 550 was originally supplied new by Maranello Concessionaires to Maranello Sales Ltd. in April 1999. The car benefits from a superb specification including the desirable Grigio Titanio paintwork, Nero Leather electric seats and carpets. This example has been known to Foskers for 8 years, and after owning it for a period during 2017, it was purchased from us by a local collector. Having been serviced throughout its life by Ferrari Main Dealers and Specialists, this example as been maintained to a high standard, especially given that it has covered less than just 20,000 miles from new.

It is complete with its original leather owners wallet, books and unused original toolkit.

Cherished by its owner,  this outstanding Ferrari is fit for a fine collection. The paintwork retains a deep gloss and the interior shows very little sign of wear. All in all, it presents as a well-cared for car which has always stored correctly in recent years.

The 550 Maranello offers a very useable ‘modern classic’ GT that is powerful, elegant and comfortable, this example is not to be missed.
