With the log fire glowing spirits were in full swing with the commanding voice of Brian Jones leading events.
The tone of the evening was very light hearted with a Ferrari trivia quiz between the tables which resulted in some dubious answers and even more dubious scoring with the honours going to the Monza table lead by Colin Fosker with the Mugello table hosted by Ian and Vanessa coming a close second.
Our compliments go to The Rising Sun for the outstanding quality menu, and wonderful food which was enjoyed by all. Whilst indulging in some calorie filled desserts and coffee Brian was back in control for some awards and the raffle which was in aid of Demelza House Children’s Hospice.
Richard Fenny collected the Foskers racing driver of the year award for his success in racing his 308 GT4 in the Ferrari Owners Club Classic series this year. Whilst Vanessa received thanks for all her efforts in keeping Foskers in order and organising the fantastic summer party with Colin. Foskers gave extra special thanks to Peter and Sally Critchell who will be celebrating 20 years at the helm of the FOC Kent Area in 2010.
As the evening drew to an end it was time to face the Christmassy weather outside but it was well worth the journey!
