Maranello Concessionaires delivered this Ferrari 512 BB new to Mr Phillips of Kent on the 20th March 1980. On the 18th September 1981 Modena Engineering Ltd sold the car with 3,907 recorded miles. Modena Engineering Ltd sold the car yet again on the 19th September 1991 to Mr Sergeant of Sussex. A major service was carried out in May 1988 by Modena Engineering Ltd the mileage was recorded as 5,430 miles. Talacrest Ltd of Surrey then sold the vehicle in December 1994 to Mr Jones of Surrey at 7,126 miles. During Mr Jones ownership the original clutch was replaced in 1995 at 7,483 recorded miles, a major service including camshaft drive belts and valve clearances/shock absorber overhaul was carried out at 8,201 miles in March 1999. In February 2000 the vehicle was a feature in the Motormania car collection at Tillicoultry in Scotland where it remained until April 2005. A cam belt service and brake overhaul were carried out in October 2005 by Foskers, at a mileage of 8,513. Foskers sold the vehicle to the last recorded owner in 2006 at a mileage of 8,543. The car was garaged and covered circa 150 miles in this period of ownership. The 512 BB is complete with its original wallet and books. The original jack kit and spare wheel and a complete tool kit remain with the vehicle. This must be one of the best low mileage Ferrari 512 BB’s available today.
