The xmas party went even better than expected, at the new venue of the Bull Hotel at Wrotham, our clients and staff were treated to a feast fit for a king!
The last couple of years we have held the Foskers Xmas party at the Rising Sun at Fawkham green, but with the number of guests wanting to attend Pushing 50+, we just had to find a bigger venue.
The Bull Hotel proved to be the perfect alternative, with ample parking so that customers could safely park Ferrari’s if they wished, and room for the Fosker race cars to be in attendance for all to see, along with a bigger restaurant, everyone was happy.
Guests were arriving from around 5.00pm, as many were staying in the rooms provided, and most of them met over a pre-dinner aperitif, prior to getting togged up for the main event.
With everyone gathered on time in the bar area, the proceedings commenced at 8.00pm.
Honorary guests included Peter and Sally Critchell, of the Kent Ferrari owners club, Adrian Hall-Carpenter, Michael Pelling, and David Blundell-Williams, and their respective partners,
As well as the Foskers race team, with Paul Brooks and Vance Kearney.
It was a fun packed occasion, especially the Foskers Quiz, which always seems to get even the mildest mannered of clients revved up!
As usual, Swiss Tony’s team were disqualified, not least because he was caught cheating last year(and by virtue of the fact that he made up the questions)
But his able team would have took the spoils for the ‘Schumacher’ table, But the ‘Ascari’ table were awarded the victory.
That seemed to set a pattern, as shortly after the quiz, the raffle prizes were announced, low and behold, the ‘Ascari’ table took nearly all the spoils!
So well done to ‘Ascari’, headed up by the race team and guests, and Jeff’s new PA, Jen Turner.
The raffle raised £260.00 for The Haven, a breast cancer charity, with its HQ based in Fulham, SW London.
After the raffle prizes had been distributed by Yasmin and Zara the awards ceremony for the race team took place, much to Vance’s delight, the ‘trophy’ seemed almost
insignificant after having his photo opportunity with the Pearce girls!
All in all a fantastic night, lovely food with lovely people having a great time, many stayed in the bar until the small hours, and the staff were extremely accommodating.
Many thanks to Martin and his team at The Bull Hotel, Wrotham, for hosting the Foskers Xmas bash, we will definately be back next year!
Special thanks to all who made this evening such a success!
