Two 1st place awards for Foskers

Forty years in the business and the team at Foskers are still winning concourse awards. Enjoying the sun and atmosphere at this years Ferrari National concourse Foskers customer Steve Mucklow was putting the finishing touches to his car, a 328 GTS looking fantastic gleaming in the sunshine.

Jeff and Colin arrived on a couple of matching Ducati Desmosedici motorbikes (that apparently go quite fast), which were on display adding to the Italian theme of the day.

As usual the standard of cars is simply astonishing at this level with frantic polishing in all classes prior to the 10.00 o'clock deadline.

Celebrating 25 years of the 288 GTO examples arrive throughout the morning with a mouth-watering nine in total a very rare sight indeed.

As the judges start their intricate inspections rooting out the slightest piece of dirt or none original part it's a good chance to mingle and meet old friends over a coffee.

After lunch the results are announced and the 288 GTO is awarded 1st in class an astonishing result considering the competition on the day. As the Foskers team listen intently Steve Mucklow's 328 GTS is also called out as the class winner, a fitting end and rewarding result to a very enjoyable day.

Thank you to Peter Everingham and the Ferrari Owners Club for hosting a fantastic event.
