The team at Foskers were pleased to have five customers attend the F.O.C National Concourse and enter their cars, which were awarded four trophies between them in the fabulous surroundings of Walton Hall.
With frantic polishing and last minute detailing over it was down to the judges to decide ultimate honours.
It was evident that this year was going to be extremely hard to separate individual cars. With extremely high standards of cars within the classes, this year it was going to be an almost impossible task for the judges to separate the cars with honours being decided over very small point margins.
The 1974 Foskers restored 365 BB GT4 won its class following on from achieving the Fetes Champetre car of the day at the Hurlingham Club in June. The car scored highest marks at the F.O.C National Concours achieving 380 points out of 400 which is an outstanding achievement for the Foskers restoration department.
Foskers were very proud to see a Ferrari Daytona which we restored in 1995; having previously won car of the day it still looked stunning 15 years on and collected a trophy in class F.
The Foskers race car was also on display as part of the race car grid on the main lawn. The car will be back in action at Zolder in the next round of the Ferrari Open Challenge.
The day was rounded off by a magnificent air display by a world war 2 Hurricane, which seemed to flying perilously low to the trees within the grounds of the hall, making a fantastic end to a very enjoyable day.
The team at Foskers would like to thank Peter and all the F.O.C team as we embarked on a long journey home getting the cars back safely.
